Monitored Object Alerts can monitor any Monitored Object Metric and trigger notifications when metrics fall outside of specified range.
Examples:

Alert when PowerImabalance metric on a cabinet exceeds 500W

Alert when ColdIsleTemperature metric on a cabinet falls outside of specified range
Adding Alerts

Enable edit mode by checking the Edit Mode checkbox.

To add an alert on a specific Object find the Object and Metric in the appropriate Monitored Object Table. Otherwise to add an alert on all Objects find the Metric column header.

To add an alert on a specific Object hover over the Alert Icon in the table cell. Otherwise to add an alert on all Objects hover over the Alert Icon in the Metric column table header.

Then click the blue Pencil Icon to edit or add an alert.

Set your Min and Max values for this metric (the alert will trigger if it that metric is not within the Min and Max values). Then click Save.

Once an alert is set you have the ability to Edit (blue), Pause/Unpause (yellow), and Delete (red) the alert.

Hover over the Alert Icon again to see these actions and the Min and Max.

Lastly select Groups and Destinations to notify when the alerts on this table are triggered. Please see EMX Settings for more information on Groups and Destinations.
Pausing/Unpausing Alerts
Pausing an alert will stop that alert from sending notifications when its triggered for a specified period of time. You can unpause it at anytime, or the alert will automatically begin sending alerts again once the specified period of time is up.

To pause an alert hover over the Alert Icon then click the Yellow Pause Icon.

Select the amount of time you want the alert paused for, then click Save.

Once the alert is paused you will see a Yellow Pause Icon next to the Alert Icon. Hover over this icon to see when the alert is paused until or to unpause press the Green Play Icon.
