Monitored Objects

Monitored objects (MOs) allow EMX to model physical assets such as Cabinets, Data Halls or Machines. They allow the data collected by Packet Power monitoring systems to be presented and managed within their physical context. A monitored object can represent an arbitrary physical object (e.g. a Data Center Cabinet or a factory floor machine), can contain arbitrary metadata related to that object and can be associated with arbitrary metrics (measurements or readings) collected by monitoring nodes visible to EMX.
