The E4 platform supports authentication with a locally stored username and password.
To enable Authentication

Enter the IP address of the E4 device on a browser to access the Gateway Console.

Click on the System tab on the console

Click on the Authentication tab under the System directory

Enter the admin username and password you wish to use to access the E4 Device in the fields provided.

Click on the Save button and the E4 device will warn you that it will need a restart to enable authentication.

Once it finishes rebooting you will be presented with the Login screen to access your device.
