Branch Circuit Monitors: 30-198 CTs

Panel monitors are available in a range of enclosures, and the wiring approach required can vary depending on the enclosure, the current transformer, and the equipment to be monitored. Panel monitoring systems are intended to be installed by qualified personnel only.

Packet Power’s  branch circuit wireless devices support 32 to 198 CTs and can monitor panelboards, RPPs and PDUs from any vendor. Our largest devices can monitor four 42/48-pole side by side panels.

Monitors are built to customer specifications and ship fully configured for:

  • Voltage source, type, quantity, lead color and lead length

  • CT rating, quantity

  • CT lead type -- flexible wire harnesses or loose leads if desired

  • Wire exit location

  • Overcurrent protection

  • Measurement type - full power or current-only

Branch Circuit Monitor Configurations

Packet Power supports multiple generations of branch circuit monitors. The differences are how many CTs the power meter used can support. If in doubt, reference your device type through your Gateway console.
