The final step of HDPM installation consist of linking the monitoring module and the current sensor interface module using Packet Power PPBUS cables.
Please note that while PPBUS cables use standard RJ-45 connectors, standard networking patch cables should not be used instead of PPBUS cables
The HDPM system allows the monitoring module and current sensor interface modules to be connected in ANY order that is convenient and results in a safe, code-compliant installation. Either or both of the connectors on the monitoring module can be used to connect sensor interface modules. The following diagrams present a few sample connection topologies.
